Sama Aluminum Signs Long-Term Supply Agreement Worth KRW 215 Billion with France's ACC

On May 13, 2022, Sama Aluminium signed a long-term supply agreement with Automotive Cells Company SE (ACC), a battery manufacturer based in France.

The agreement will be in effect for nine years, from May 11, 2022, to December 31, 2030, and is valued at approximately KRW 215 billion. Under the terms of the contract, Sama Aluminium will supply aluminium foil used as cathode current collectors in lithium-ion batteries (LIBs), with France as the designated supply region.

ACC, established in 2020, is a European battery manufacturer jointly founded by Saft (a subsidiary of TotalEnergies), Stellantis, and Mercedes-Benz.
